We're changing the way chemicals are made.

Yes, chemicals can be green.

Trillium Renewable Chemicals is a pioneer in the manufacture of green, drop-in renewable chemicals. Our company exists because we identified a need, secured the technology to meet that need and now we’re ready to offer secure renewable chemicals supply to customers around the globe.

01

The demand exists — and is growing.

Acrylonitrile (ACN) and propylene glycol are used around the world to manufacture everything from toys, to polyester resin, to personal care products, to food. Right now, dozens plants supply thousands of customers worldwide, with some of them relying 100 percent on import. The demand for these chemicals is steadily growing and many customers face supply risk.

02

Customers are looking for green alternatives.

The $80 billion renewable chemicals market is growing at around 11 percent annually. According to McKinsey research*, four of five consumers consider sustainability when making purchases. Our manufacturing process addresses the need for a green alternative and gives our customers the ability to promote their support of environmental initiatives.

03

Our patented technology is proven and available now.

Our three-step chemical process was invented in 2014 and has been carefully developed with over $8M in R&D funding. After 7 years of extensive lab- and pilot-scale testing, we are ready to scale to commercial operation. Our team is developing the engineering package and construction plan for the first flagship plant right now. We have solid process economics, business plan, and an experienced team that can execute on our mission to commercialize a greener way to make chemicals.
